EPISODE DESCRIPTION

On Saturday, September 4th, False Count Radio, in association with Wrestling Soup, proudly presented the Skandor Akbar Tribute Show. This tribute to a fallen brother was hosted by "The Outsider" Andrew Karluk, ECW Original “The Pitbull” Gary Wolf and Anthony Missionary Thomas. "The Pacific Coast Player" JT Evans contributed to the pretaped interviews, but, unfortunately was unable to be on the live show, due to him wrestling.

Andrew, Gary and Missionary talked about the early part of Skandor’s career.

The Doug Masters pretaped interview was played. Doug spoke about what Ack would have wanted fans to remember him most for. Doug discussed his best memories of Skandor. Doug discussed what he would title the book about Skandor Akbar’s life. Doug talked about the impact Skandor had on the people around him. Doug reminisced about what he'll miss the most about Skandor Akbar. Doug discussed what he felt was Akbar’s true passion outside of wrestling. Doug discussed what he feels Ack’s legacy is.

Andrew, Gary and Missionary discussed Skandor Akbar’s genesis as a manager.

The Stro’s pretaped interview was played. Doug spoke about what Ack would have wanted fans to remember him most for. Stro discussed his best memories of Skandor. Stro discussed what he would title the book about Skandor Akbar’s life. Stro talked about the impact Skandor had on the people around him. Stro reminisced about what he'll miss the most about Skandor Akbar. Stro discussed what he felt was Akbar’s true passion outside of wrestling. Stro discussed what he feels Ack’s legacy is.

Andrew, Gary and Missionary spoke about Devastation, Inc. and Skandor Akbar’s time in Mid-South and World Class Championship Wrestling.

The Bart Sawyer pretaped interview was played. Bart spoke about what Ack would have wanted fans to remember him most for. Bart discussed his best memories of Skandor. Bart discussed what he would title the book about Skandor Akbar’s life. Bart talked about the impact Skandor had on the people around him. Bart reminisced about what he'll miss the most about Skandor Akbar. Bart discussed what he felt was Akbar’s true passion outside of wrestling. Bart discussed what he feels Ack’s legacy is.

Andrew, Gary and Missionary discussed GWF and Skandor Akbar’s role in that promotion.

The Alex Porteau pretaped interview was played. Alex spoke about what Ack would have wanted fans to remember him most for. Alex discussed his best memories of Skandor. Alex discussed what he would title the book about Skandor Akbar’s life. Alex talked about the impact Skandor had on the people around him. Alex reminisced about what he'll miss the most about Skandor Akbar. Alex discussed what he felt was Akbar’s true passion outside of wrestling. Alex discussed what he feels Ack’s legacy is.

Andrew and Missionary spoke about the last years of Skandor Akbar’s life.

The show closed with a ten bell salute to General Skandor Akbar..
